Guess What This Is...
03.24.05 (1:15 pm)   [edit]

You can't see all of it.  The sides are cut off because of my scanner.  I updated it to spread it out a little, and the cut/paste resulted in the line down the left side of the painting.

Looking at it this way, I see the right bottom corner needs darkened. Other than that, I just need to get it in the mail. You'll have to spring for matting and framing... sorry :oD

The problem is not my host. It's my scanner. I haven't know the location of my digital camera for like 2 years.

I say this everytime you post one of your paintings..."I wish I could paint!"

Great work hon, beautiful :)

I didn't look back to see what I say when you say that, but it's probably "Practice and you will." Art is 5% talent and 95% practice. Sometimes when I'm in local galleries and see art-student (actual or quality) work, I'm vividly reminded of that.

I have a very creative 'eye' but it get's lost between the brain and the hand, lol. My old boss used to tell me I was the only graphic artist he knew that couldn't draw stick-people. lol

Beautiful. May I recommend Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way. She writes about what you talk about. Practice, and giving yourself the tools you need.

Such as peace and quiet and dedicated time? That's the big ones. Motivation doesn't hurt, either!!! Thanks for the compliment.
